Devon Classic Campers is the second classic hire business set up by myself, Sean Dewhurst, and my wife Carolyn Mills, since we moved to Devon from London in 2005.
In June 2006, we established North Devon Classic Car Hire, offering people the chance to drive a classic sports car around the beautiful West Country.
We made the move to Devon to get away from the stress of city life, and so that our children Anna, 9, and Tom, 7, could grow up in a wonderful outdoor environment, taking advantage of everything the countryside and coast have to offer.
I spent my early years in the Midlands, and our family holiday each year in the 1970s was a fortnight's camping at Croyde Bay. I have wonderful memories of carefree days on the beach or in the sand dunes, and feel very grateful that these facilities are now right on our doorstep.
Hire a classic VW camper van from us, and you too can experience the laid back lifestyle and relaxed pace of life we are lucky enough to enjoy down here in North Devon.
